Starting at the Church, you will enter Burke Lake at its Northern Entrance off the Fairfax County Parkway.
Following a 4.5 mile trail around the Lake will bring you through a beautiful forest of Autumn's first changing colors. The trail proceeds on paved paths, sidewalks,
and natural surface trails around Burke Lake.

The commemorative patch depicting Charging Charlie oomp-pah-pahing at the Octoberfest is the award for this event.
Only 50 awards will be ordered and there will be no reorders. Awards from previous NVV events
also will be available for a nominal fee. |
| Fees: |
There
is no charge to participate in these events. The fee for IVV credit is
$3.The pre-registration fee for the award and IVV credit is $5. Fee for award and credit on the day of the event will be $6. |

The pre-registration deadline is September 1, 2010.
Fees cannot be refunded for those who pre-register
and do not participate. |

Pets
are allowed in the park.
Restrooms and water will be available at the start point. Stroller are not allowed on the trails as they are natural.

Directions to Accotink Unitarian Universalist Church.
From Route 66: Turn south onto the Fairfax County Parkway (Route 7100). Proceed on FCC for approximately 7 miles to Burke Lake Road (Route 645). Turn right and proceed for 1/4 mile to Lakehaven Lane. Turn left onto Lakehaven Lane. Drive
1/4 mile and church will be on your right.
From the Capital Beltway (I-95): Take Exit 169, Old Keene Mill Road (Route 645). Proceed west approximately 7 miles to the Fairfax County Parkway (Route 7100). Turn north onto the Parkway and proceed for
approximately 1 mile to Burke Lake Road (Route 645). Turn left and proceed 1/4 mile to Lakehaven Lane. Turn left onto Lakehaven Lane. The church will be on your right.
