Another day of travel. The road was becoming more mountainous as the day went on. We arrived at Jackson about 3 PM to pick up the motorhome. It is quite attractive with sleeping for 5. We will pick it up on the 6th and drive it to our campsite.
After signing for the motorhome and leaving it there, we headed for Driggs, ID. The route is straight up over a mountain and then straight down into a valley. A 10% grade. I am so happy that I didn't attempt to drive the motorhome over that mountain.
Driggs, ID is a one street town located in a valley. Since it is behind the Tetons, it doesn't have much of a view of the mountains. If I had a ranch with plenty of acres, a satellite dish, and an internet connection, it might a nice place to live. This is not too be taken as a negative comment.
Jayme spent about an hour in the motel pool; unfortunately, she had to share it with about 10 rowdy kids and adults. After they left, she had about 15 minutes to play around in the pool.
We ate dinner at a pizza place just down from the motel.
Jayme's homesickness again upset all of us.
